Short version: your numbers stay in your browser unless you ask the explainer a question.

Calculations

Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. There are no accounts, and your figures are not sent to us when you type them.

Saved inputs (localStorage)

To save you retyping, each calculator remembers your last inputs in your browser’s localStorage, under keys starting with ww:. They never leave your device and you can remove them at any time:

The “Ask about your numbers” explainer

Only when you press a question button or “Explain it”, the calculator’s current inputs and results plus your question are sent to our server and processed by an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to write the answer. We don’t store them. Please don’t type names, account numbers or other personal details into the question box. Answers are educational and may contain mistakes; they aren’t financial advice.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics tool, to count page views and see which pages are useful. It doesn’t use cookies or build advertising profiles.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request logs (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver and secure the site.
